about the artist:
rebecca (marks) leopold is an artist, writer and researcher living in New York City. She makes software, photographs, videos and interactive installations that explore the relationship between personal expression and technological and historical authorship. A graduate of Bard College, she holds an MFA from the ICP - Bard Program in Advanced Photographic Studies and a degree from NYU's Interactive Telecommunications Program (ITP). Her work has been exhibited at the International Center of Photography, SITE Santa Fe, the Knockdown Center, NurtureArt, and featured in the Philly Fringe Festival. She has taught digital media for ten years at various institutions including: the International Center of Photography, DIAP at City College and Queens College.
