dit·to /ˈdidō/ by Lauren LaFleur

Lauren LaFleur is a visual artist living in Brooklyn, NY. She has studied at The International Center of Photography. Her featured book, dit·to /ˈdidō/, has been featured at NY Art Book Fair at MoMA PS1, sold at Printed Matter in Chelsea and was purchased by The New York Public Library to live in their permanent artist book collection.

dit·to /ˈdidō/ investigates the death of a photograph. The images derived from a polaroid of aluminum foil that was rephotographed on 35mm film and then xeroxed repeatedly until the image dissolves. The pages were then scanned, risograph printed, hand collated and bound.
